Brass Polishing

Church of St. Ignatius Loyola NYC

In September of 2014 Metal Man Restoration was hired to restore the sanctuary doors at St. Ignatius Cathedral NYC. The church was erected in 1851 and the doors were in poor condition and had not been restored in 15 years.

Condition: The condition of the bronze doors were in poor condition and had many layers of oxidization, aged clear coating and dirt and grime.

Solution: The job took over two weeks to properly restore, the doors restored onsite. The doors were refinishing to the natural finish and clear coated.
