About Anthony M. Guglielmo – President
Anthony M. Guglielmo was born and raised in Pelham, New York, and is married with three children. His experience in the Metal Finishing industry goes back to his childhood when he had his own workshop in his garage, where he experimented with welding, casting, and polishing small items.
As he grew older, he eventually created his own electroplating tanks in the garage and offered these services to friends in the local area. His hobby developed into the business that he loves.
Mr. Guglielmo started Metal Man Restoration in 2002 with aspirations of developing a diversified Metal Finishing Company providing an array of residential and commercial services all under one roof. The business started as a local metal polishing shop serving residential clients in the Westchester, NY area. Within the first two years, the business grew into the Historical Metal Restoration, Lighting Restoration, and Metal Cleaning and Maintenance Fields. The business started as a small 200-square-foot shop and grew to an 850-square-foot storefront located in Pelham, NY. In 2005, the business moved again to its current and much larger facility in which they are able to offer more services such as electroplating and welding/casting. Our current facility is 6,000 square feet and is located in Mount Vernon, NY.
Prior to starting Metal Man Restoration, Mr. Guglielmo was an IT Professional at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for six and a half years. He holds a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Computer Information Systems from Manhattan College and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Pace University. In his free time, Mr. Guglielmo is very active in local car clubs with his 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, is a National Car Show Judge for the AACA, and also enjoys biking, running, working out, and preventive medicine.
