Our Restoration Process
Every project starts with an on-site assessment of the metal, its condition, and its finish. From there we clean the surface, repair or fabricate any damaged or missing sections, and refinish the metal by polishing, plating, or building an appropriate patina. A protective lacquer or wax coating seals the work so it holds up against weather and time. On designated landmarks, we align the approach with the applicable preservation standards.

Do you work on-site or in your shop?
Both. Large facades, railings, and fixed architectural elements are often restored on-site. Doors, gates, fixtures, and smaller pieces usually come to our shop for a full restoration, then return for reinstallation.
Can you fabricate missing or damaged sections?
Yes. When sections are missing or damaged beyond repair, our shop fabricates replacements to match the original casting and profile, so the finished piece reads as one continuous work rather than a patch.
