Does restoring a radiator improve how it heats?

Can you remove old lead paint safely?

Do you restore radiators in place?

No. A proper strip and refinish needs shop conditions. Radiators are disconnected and collected, restored at our Mount Vernon facility, and returned for reinstallation. Being just over the Bronx line keeps that turnaround short.

Can you restore every radiator in a building?

Yes, and for larger Bronx buildings that is usually the sensible approach. We work through them in stages so heat is not lost across the whole building at once, which matters when the work runs into the heating season.
